REAL CONNECTION MATTERS.

It might feel like today we’re more connected than ever – people are only a notification away – but in reality, lots of us are lonely. And that loneliness is a real problem. According to the World Health Organization strong social connection reduces the risk of early death and supports both physical and mental health. It’s time we step up and hold out our hands. It’s time to boost our bonds and find those moments of meaningful connection that are essential for our wellbeing.

THE WEEK OF CONNECTION

From the 8th to the 14th of June we’re inviting you, your mum, your boss, the whole of the UK to take part in a week of connection. A week to step away from the screens and up to their front door; a week to make time for meaningful in-person moments.

How to take part

  • Make a plan to connect meaningfully, in person, with someone you care about
  • Share your experience using #WeekofConnection — our favourite stories will win spot prizes designed to bring you even closer together
  • Nominate others to join in and help create a ripple effect of real-world connection
