Funeral Wreaths FAQs
What is a funeral wreath?
A funeral wreath is a circular floral arrangement traditionally used to honor and pay respects to the deceased during funeral services and memorial ceremonies. It is crafted by arranging flowers, greenery, and often other decorative elements in a circular shape, symbolizing eternity and the cycle of life.
When will the funeral flowers arrive?
Usually at least two hours before the service. The local florist will work with the funeral director to co-ordinate their safe arrival, to make sure there’s no extra stress for anyone who’s grieving.
When do I need to order funeral flowers by?
We’d suggest at least 24 to 48 hours before the funeral, but we understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan and we’ll always try our best to help even if it’s last minute. Get in touch with our customer team and they’ll see what’s possible.
What flowers should I choose for a funeral?
Traditional choices include white lilies, roses, chrysanthemums, and carnations – these symbolise love, sympathy, and respect. But it’s really up to you, you can work with the florist to choose flowers that reflect the person who’s died or the style of funeral.
